Chase Wendorff

Chase Wendorff is a consulting veterinarian with CGF through the Coaldale Vet Clinic.

Chase is passionate about large animals and is from a mixed cow-calf operation south of Lethbridge, Alta. He received a biology degree from the University of Lethbridge (2007) and a veterinary degree from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan (2012).

Since graduation, he has worked for Greg Van Varenbergh, another consulting veterinarian for CGF, out of the Coaldale Veterinary Clinic in Coaldale, Alta.

At the Ceylon feedlot, Chase provides staff with the most up-to-date veterinary consulting services. His goal is to assist them in obtaining optimal animal health and welfare while supporting economic returns through efficient production and management.

He is regularly in contact with Ceylon staff, discussing best management practices, helping on-the-ground staff make decisions as part of ongoing crew training development.

Having work with the staff at Ceylon since its began operations in 2016, Chase has been excited to work with the group and develop a strong feedlot in southeastern Saskatchewan.

Chase and his wife life on an acreage outside Raymond, Alta., with their four children. In their spare time, they enjoy hiking, camping, hunting and the odd getaway to tropical destinations.
